Yarg. Yarg I say!!!

Yarg. Unfortunately, the yarn I bought while visiting the evil muse isn't knitting up to gauge on test swatches, even when I go down a needle size. Methinks it'll be used for the other pattern I liked in the mag. (Nevermind, can't get gauge for that either, plus I'd be cutting it close on yarn amount. Yarg. Back to the drawing board.) Fortunately, I've found a yarn on Elann.com that I think I can sub for it and it'll be under $30 and I think I still have voucher $$ I can use there. But that'll have to wait until next month probably. Will be perusing the knit mags for a potential pattern for the yarn I do have. (Wah! Not even my shrug patterns are the right gauge! :(( Must find shrug/cardi/wrap type thinger for this yarn!)
